The Panther, designed for firefighters, has a first-stage regulator with a large, easy-to-grip stainless steel CGA handwheel for fast, hassle-free connections. It attaches directly to the cylinder valve, eliminating the need for a high pressure hose. The low profile second-stage regulator has a two-piece housing with a replaceable outlet for easy maintenance. The cover has a rubber boot that absorbs shock and keeps debris out of the shut-off button mechanism. The housing, cover, main-valve seat, and bypass knob are made of new, specially developed, space-age materials designed to withstand a 30 foot drop onto concrete. The Air Klic(tm) fastening system allows easy, quick attachment of the second stage regulator to the face piece in any orientation, and a First-Breath-On mechanism allows activation of the unit without free flow.
